Overview
Established in 1959, Ministerio del Trabajo y Previsión Social, Chile (Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, Chile) is a Chilean State Ministry , whose mission is to contribute to the development of the country, promoting public policies that promote decent work, job training, occupational health and safety, greater integration of vulnerable groups in the labor market as well as the regulatory changes necessary for the expansion and exercise of workers' rights, especially collective rights. Similarly, the Ministry promotes the necessary changes to the pension system. Ministerio del Trabajo y Previsión Social, Chile is headquartered in the city of Santiago de Chile and its services have national coverage.
